How To Become Muslim

Any human being can embrace Islam. You do not need anyone's permission.

You simply say and believe that "there is No God except Allah and that Mohammad(S.A.W) is his Messenger"(Translation of the Shahada).

Once you say this sentence, you become Muslim.

From there,you must do what Allah and His messenger tell you to, and stay away from what they tell you to stay away from.

Steps:

• Say the Shahada(Ash-hadu anla elaha illa-Allah wa ash-hadu anna Mhammadur rasul-Allah)  {You can't become a Muslim just by pronouncing the words—the oral recitation is a reflection of belief that's held in the heart.}
• To become a legal member of the Muslim community, have witnesses present at your recitation.
• Wash yourself.
