Five Pillars of Islam The five basic pillars of the Islam are the basic rules in Islam that every should follow. There practice are very essential for every Muslim. Here they are with there Arabic names: 1.Shahada(Faith): Declaration of Faith: The shahadah means there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. A statement proclaiming the belief in One God and that Muhammad(P.B.U.H) is a prophet of Allah . To become Muslim a person simply recites this statement publicly, and in Arabic. This is the keystone of Islamic belief, and it is sometimes said that the earnest profession of this spiritual commitment is enough to make one a Muslim .
